86. VIDOVSZKY BELA (Gyoma, 1883. július 2. -Budapest, 1973. február 6.) Nedec vára (1933) olaj, vászon, 70 x 90 cm Jelzés balra, lent: "Vidovszky Béla 933." Leltári száma: 53.5708. Munkácsy gyermekkori játszótársa, Vidovszky Ferenc gyomai jegyző fia, a szolnoki művésztelep és az alföldi festészet egyik legkifinomultabb festői kultúrájú képviselője. Életművében kiemelt helyet foglalnak el az enteriőrök és a várakról, várkastélyokról készült, történelmi levegőjű tájképek. 87. PERLROTT CSABA VILMOS (Békéscsaba, 1880. február 2.-Budapest, 1955. január 23.) A párizsi Notre-Dame (1926) vegyes technika, papír, 107 x 75 cm Jelzés jobbra, lent: "Perlrott Csaba Vilmos Paris 926." Leltári száma: 73.38.1. A magyar festészet - Nagybányáról kiinduló - megújításában jelentős szerepet játszott csabai származású művész sokáig volt Henri Matisse tanítványa és a Fauves, illetve a kubizmus eredményeinek elemző alkalmazója. Sokszor járt (és rendezett kiállítást) Párizsban; ez a vázlatszerűségében is autonóm műalkotás egyik párizsi útján készült, s a jó barát: Mokos József özvegyétől vásárlás útján került a Munkácsy Mihály Múzeumba. 88. MUNKÁCSY MIHÁLY (Munkács, 1844. február 20. -Endenich, 1900. május 1.) Kutyacsalád olaj, fa, 73 x 100 cm Jelzés balra, lent: "M. de Munkácsy" Leltári száma: 62.3. A Művelődési Minisztérium Múzeumi Főosztálya vásárolta meg számunkra. A mű a gyermek- és ifjúkora javarészét Békéscsabán töltött festő utolsó évtizedére jellemző "szalonképek" sorozatába illeszthető. Merőben más "életképi" világ ez, mint amely a hírnév csúcsára röpítette, viszont benne a festői-mesterségbeli tudás csúcsáról pillant vissza ránk. 89. SCHED3ER HUGÓ (Budapest, 1873. szeptember 29-Budapest, 1950. március 7.) Fejek és maszkok fekete kréta, papír, 72,8 x 58,2 cm Jelzés jobbra, lent: "Scheiber H" Leltári száma: 76.7.1. Az alapjában figuratív posztimpresszionista szemléletet az avantgárd első hullámának az ikonográfiái forradalmaival szintetizáló festő és grafikus előbb külföldön aratott sikert, s csak egy jó évtizede vált a hazai műkereskedelem egyik legkeresettebb szerzőjévé. A gyűjteményünkbe aukción történt vásárlás útján került fekete-fehér kompozíció rendkívül jellemző a művésznek a mozgásdinamika iránti érdeklődésére. 90. UITZ BÉLA (Mehala, 1887. március 8.-Budapest, 1972. január 26.) Család (1917) papír, tusrajz, 40 x 28 cm Jelzés balra, fent: "Uitz 917." Leltári száma: 74.42.1. A fiatal magyar aktivista nemzedék vezérképviselőjének jellegzetes grafikai munkája a BÁV aukciójáról, vétel útján került múzeumunk amúgy is értékes egyedi rajzkollekciójába. Ez a tusrajz is almoz a sorozathoz tartozik, amelyen Cézanne és a kubisták hatása érezhető, s amelyet 1916-ban a San Franci scó-i nemzetközi kiállításon aranyéremmel jutalmaztak. 86. BÉLA VIDOVSZKY (Gyoma, 2

th February 1973) The castle of Nedec oil, canvas, 70 x 90 cm Sign on the left side, at the bottom: "Vidovszky Béla 933." Inventory number: 53.5708. He was the son of the notary of Gyoma, Ferenc Vidovszky, who was the playmate of Munkácsy in his childhood. Béla Vidovszky participated frequently in the artists' colony of Szolnok, elaborated his topics taken from the Great Plain with refined painting culture. The interiors and the landscapes made about fortresses and castles breathing historical atmosphere had significant role in his oeuvre. 87. CSABA VILMOS PERLROTT (Békéscsaba, 2 February 1880 - Budapest, 23th January 1955) The Notre-Dame of Paris mixed technique, paper, 107 x 75 cm Sign on the right side, at the bottom: "Perlrott Csaba Vilmos 926." Inventory number: 73.38.1. The artist originating from Csaba played significant role in the revival of the Hungarian painting, starting from Nagybánya. He was the disciple of Henri Matisse and he analysed and applied the results of the Fauves and the cubism for a long time. He visited Paris many times and he arranged exhibition there; this autonomic, although sketch-like work was also made on one of his travel to Paris. The painting was purchased from the widow of József Mokos by the Munkácsy Mihály Museum. 86. MIHÁLY MUNKÁCSY (Munkács, 20* February 1844 - Endenich, 1

st May 1900) Dog family oil, wood, 73 x 100 cm Sign on the left side, at the bottom: "M. de Munkácsy." Inventory number: 62.3. It was purchased for us by the Museum Department of the Ministry of Culture. The work belongs to the "salonpaintings" characteristic of the last years of the painter who spent most of his childhood and youth in Békéscsaba. The world of this "gerne" is definitely different from the previous atmosphere which helped him to be famed, but his paintingprofessional knowledge is culminating in this picture. 89. HUGÓ SCHREIBER (Budapest, 29

The painter, who synthesised the basically figurative, post-impressionist approach with the iconographie revolution of the first wave of the avantgárdé, first made a hit abroad and he lias become one of the most popular artist among the Hungarian art-dealers only for a decade. The black and white composition characteristic of the artist's fancy to the motiondynamics was purchased on an auction by our collection. 90. BÉLA UITZ (Mehala, 8

th January 1972) Family paper, tint-drawing, 40 x 28 cm Sign on the left side, at the top: "Uitz 917." Inventory number: 74.42.1. The graphic work of the leading representative of the young Hungarian activist generation was purchased by our museum on a BÁV-auction (Second-hand Shops Company) and it is kept in our valuable and unique drawing collection. This tint-drawing belongs to the series which was influenced by Cézanne and the cubists and which was awarded gold medal at an international exhibition in San Francisco in 1916. 135
