77. Csizmadia társulat zászlaja (1905) A múzeum régi anyagából Leltári száma: Ht. 73.55.1. H.: 214 cm, Sz.: 116 cm A céhek felbomlása után egyes szakmák képviselői társulatokba tömörültek, s a korábbi céhekhez hasonlóan elkészítették zászlaikat. A céhes előképnek feleltek meg abban is, hogy ezeken leggyakrabban a mesterség patrónusai és a szakma jellegzetes munkaeszközeit, gyártmányait ábrázolták. Selyemzászlónk közepén Szent Imre festett alakja látható liliommal, fent kétoldalt pedig a magyar címer illetve Szent István, amint felajánlja a koronát Szűz Máriának. A zászló másik oldalán a középen lévő kép Mária és Szent Erzsébet találkozását ábrázolja, felette a magyar címer és Szent Erzsébet kenyérosztása. Mindkét oldalon, a középső kép alatt, a mesterség jelképei foglalnak helyet, s a felirat is azonos. 78. A Békéscsaba-Erzsébethelyi Földmunkások Dalegyletének zászlaja (1932) Gyűjtőhelye: Békéscsaba Leltári száma: Ht. 58.22.1. H.: 133 cm, Sz.: 110 cm A dalegylet 1928-ban alakult a Békéscsabai,Földmunkások Szakszervezetének támogatásával és az Általános Munkás Dalkör szakmai segítségével. A férfikarként szerveződött egylet 1939-ben vált vegyes karrá, sorai közé napszámosokat toborzott. Miután a szlovák-magyar lakosságcsere kapcsán a tagok túlnyomó része áttelepült Szlovákiába, az egyesület 1950-ben megszűnt. Zászlajuk két oldala ezüstfonállal dúsan hímzett. Bemutatott oldalán, a középen lévő líra körül BÉKÉSCSABA-ERZSÉBETHELYI - FÖLDMUNKÁSOK DALEGYLETE ívelt felirat olvasható. Másik oldalán középen az összefogás és a munka szimbólumai foglalnak helyet: kalászok között nyelükkel egymást keresztező kapa, kasza és ásó, előttük két összefonódó kéz. Gróf Teleld Pál, miniszterelnök díszpolgári oklevele (1940) A múzeum régi anyagából Leltári száma: Hd. 62.638.1. H.: 61 cm, Sz.: 44,5 cm Békéscsaba város képviselő-testülete 1940. augusztus 31-én, az Észak-Erdélyt Magyarországnak juttató II. bécsi döntés másnapján, határozatot hozott gróf Teleki Pál miniszterelnök díszpolgárrá avatásáról. Az erről kiállított kézzel írt, festett oklevél készítője Csányi Béla, gimnáziumi rajztanár. A szövegmező fölött Magyarország címere mellett balról a Teleki-család, jobbról Békéscsaba címere látható, körben pedig a visszatért vármegyék címerei helyezkednek el. Alul, a fátokban Békéscsaba függő viaszpecsétje van. 77. Flag of the Boot-maker Society (1905) From the old collection of the museum Inventory number: Ht. 73.55.1. L.:214 cm, W.: 116 cm Following the dissolution of the guilds the representatives of each trade formed societies, and similarly to the former guilds they prepared their flags. They suit their antitype, the guild, also from the aspect that most frequently they represented the patron, the characteristic instruments and the productions of the trade. In the middle of our silk flag the painted figure of Saint Emerich (Imre) with lily, on the top the Hungarian arms and Saint Stephan offering up the crown to Virgin Mary can be seen. The middle-picture on the other side of the flag shows the meeting of Mary and Saint Elisabeth, upwards the Hungarian arms and the bread-distribution of Saint Elisabeth can be seen. On both sides under the middle-picture the symbols of the trade can be found, the inscription is the same. 78. Flag of the Choir of Agrarian Workers of Békéscsaba-Erzsébethely (1932) Place of collection: Békéscsaba Inventory number: Ht. 58.22.1. L.: 133 cm,W.: 110 cm The choir was formed by the support of the Trade Union of the Agrarian Workers of Békéscsaba and with the professional help of the General Workers' Choir in 1928. The association formed as men choir was changed into mixed chorus in 1939, it enlisted also day-labourers. Owing to the Slovakian-Hungarian population-exchange the majority of the members transmigrated to Slovakia, and the choir was dissolved in 1950. The two sides of their flag is embroidered richly with silver yarn. On the presented side, in the middle under the lyre an arched inscription can be read: THE CHOIR OF AGRARIAN WORKERS - OF BÉKÉSCSABA-ERZSÉBETHELY. On the other side the symbols of the solidarity and work can be found: among ears a hoe, a meak and a spade with crossing handles, and two interknitting arms in front of them. At the top and at the bottom an arched inscription: WE PRAISE THE WORK UNDER THE AEGIS OF LOVE-WE DO THE HARD FIELD WORK BY SINGING 79. st August 1940, on the day following the so called Second Decision of Vienna giving back North-Transylvania to Hungary, the representative body of Békéscsaba made a decisioin on conferring the title of the freeman of the city on count Pál Teleky, prime minister. The painted, hand-written certificate made up on that was elaborated by Béla Csányi, drawing-master of the grammar school. Above the text-field beside the arms of Hungary on the left the arms of the Teleky-family, on the right the arms of Békéscsaba and in a circle the arms of the returned comitats can be seen. Underneath in the wooden case the hanging wax-seal of Békéscsaba can be found. 80. Radio - Philips mains receiver (the beginning of the 1930s) Place of collection: Békéscsaba Inventory number: Ht. 98.9.1-2. L.: 34 cm,W.:20 cm,H.: 18 cm In the past several years, mainly through donations, relatively great number of radio and television sets got to our museum. The presented bakélite boxed Philips receiver also belongs to them, which - unlike to former types - worked through mains. It has amplification tubes working with alternate current, a small transformer was necessary to the usage. It is interesting that the septangular speaker is not put together with the receiver, it can be attached separately. The cover of the box can be unclosed, which ensures access to the apparatus. 80. Rádió - Philips hálózati vevőkészülék (1930-as évek eleje) Gyűjtőhelye: Békéscsaba Leltári száma: Ht. 98.9.1-2. H.: 34 cm, Sz.: 20 cm, M.: 18 cm Az elmúlt néhány évben, főként ajándékozás útján, viszonylag nagyszámú rádió és televízió került múzeumunkba. Közülük való a bemutatott bakelitdobozos, Philips típusú vevőkészülék is, mely a korábbi típusokkal ellentétben már hálózatról működött. Váltóáramú csövei vannak, használatához egy kis transzformátorra volt szükség. Érdekessége, hogy a hétszögletű hangszóró nincs egybeépítve a vevővel, hanem külön csatlakoztatható hozzá.
