nek érzékeli. Varga András és Pintér László 1972-ben írta le Kovács Gyula békéscsabai malakológus Maróierdőben gyűjtött, ún. holotípusa alapján. A tudományra nézve új faj magyar névadásánál a dobozi jelzőt a locus typicusáról kapta. A holotípus és Kovács Gyula paratípusai a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban találhatók. A biogeográfiailag dác-podoliai faunakörbe sorolt faj areájának Ny-i szegélye a Mezőkovácsháza - Szabadkígyós - Doboz vonalig terjed. A dobozi pikkelyescsiga erdőségek, bokros területek hulladékevő lakója. Mivel előfordulása nagyon kis területre korlátozódik, védettséget élvez. Gyűjtőhely: Gyulavári, Török-erdő Gyűjtő: Domokos Tamás Gyűjtési év: 1998 14. Bánáti csiga - Helicigona banatica A 16-21 mm magas és 22-36 mm széles, lencse alakú, barna övvel díszített házának kezdeti kanyarulatai élesen tarajosak. A ház növekedése során a taraj fokozatosan tompul, s közvetlenül a fehér-rózsaszín ajakduzzanata előtt már teljesen legömbölyített. A szájadék kihajlott szegélyű. Sok Békéscsaba környékéről származó preparátuma miatt a gyűjtemény jól reprezentálja Békéscsaba rovarfaunáját is. A képen látható 12. számú dobozban a lepkék (Lepidoptera) több védett, ritka faja található. A bal oldalon egymás alatt sorakoznak a pillangók családjának (Papilionidae) védett fajai: farkasalma (Zerinthia hypsipyle - Békéscsaba, Élővíz-csatorna partja, 1969), a kardos lepke (Iphiclides podalirius Békéscsaba, Széchenyi-liget, 1986), a fecskefarkú lepke (Papilio machaon - Békéscsaba, Póstelek, 1986), a kis apollólepke (Parnassius mnemosyne) valamint az apolló lepke (Parnassius apollo). A rovardoboz közepén a fehérlepkék (Pieridae) és a kistermetű boglárkalepkék (Lycaenidae) családjának képviselőit látjuk. A jobb oldalon a tarkalepkék (Nymphalidae) képviselőiben gyönyörködhetünk. A család két legismertebb európai - közép-ázsiai elterjedésű védett faja a nappali pávaszem (Inachis io - Békéscsaba, 1988) és az atalanta-lepke {Vanessa atalanta - Békéscsaba, 1987). 118 on the basis of the so called holotype collected in the forest of Maró by Gyula Kovács, malacologist of Békéscsaba. The new Hungarian species has received its "dobozi" attribution from its locus typicus. The holotype and paratype of Gyula Kovács can be found in the Hungarian National Museum. The western border of the area of the species classified in the faunacircle of Dác-Podola extends to the line of Mezőkovácsháza - Szabadkígyós - Doboz. It feeds litters in shelled snail-forests, bushy areas of Doboz. As its occurrence is limited to a very small area, it is protected. Place of collection: Gyulavári, Török-forest Collector: Tamás Domokos Time of collection: 1998 14. Helicigona banatica The initial bends of the shell ornamented with 16-21 mm tall and 22-36 mm wide, lentil-shaped, brown belt are sharply crested. During the extension of the shell the crest gradually gets blunted, and it becomes entirely round-cornered immediately before the white-pink mouth-tumescence. The edge of the mouth is bending out. The navel is relatively wide and it is partly covered by the rim bending on it. The surface of the shell is silken because it is irregularly lined and spirally grooved. In Hungary the occurrence of the Carpathian species belongs to the green corridor of the following three rivers: Tisza, Fekete-Körös (Gyulavári-Sitka, Dénesmajor-Csigás-forest), Maros. The fluctuation of this forest-dweller species is testified by its fossil-occurrence extending to a larger area than today. Owing to its scientific significance it is protected. Place of collection: Dénesmajor, Csigás-forest Collector: Tamás Domokos Time of collection: 1997 15. Cepaea nemoralis The strong, moderately bright, light yellow, 1620 mm tall and 19-25 mm wide shell is lined finely and irregularly. The shell is one coloured or ornamented with 1-5 belts. It has weakly developed mouth-tumescence and brown mouth-edge which covers the navel. So far it has been found in four points of the Great Plain. Three locations out of these are lying between the Körös and the Maros (Mindszent, Hódmezővásárhely and Orosháza). The centre of its spread is in the Atlantic-Mediterranian region, it is herbivorous and it likes the parklands. The animal is proposed for protection. Place of collection: Mindszent, old cemetery Collector: Tamás Domokos Time of collection: 1996 16. Butterflies The insect-collection of our museum consisting of almost 600 species is a systematic type-material. Owing to numerous preparations coming from Békéscsaba it represents well the insect-fauna of Békéscsaba. In the box no. 12 that can be seen in the picture more protected and rare species of the moths (Lepidoptera) can be found. On the left side the protected species of the butterfly-family are arranged under each other: Zerinthia hypsipyle - Békéscsaba, the riverside of the Élővíz-channel, 1969, Iphiclides podalirius - Békéscsaba, Széchenyi-park, 1986, Parnassius mnemosyne as well as Parnassius apollo .In the middle of the insect-box we can see the representatives of the families of the Pieridae and the small Lycaenidae. On the right side we can delight in the representatives of the Nymphalidae. The most famous protected species spread in Europe and Middle-Asia are the Inachis io - Békéscsaba, 1988, and the Vanessa atalanta - Békéscsaba, 1987.
