Az erdőbényei Mulató-hegy karbonátásványai (Weiszburg Tamás - Kovács Árpád - Bada Gábor - Jánosi Melinda - Lovas György - Olaszi Vendel - Papp Gábor - Szakáll Sándor)

Topograph ia Mineralogica Hungáriáé VoJ. I. 41-55 Miskolc, 1993 AZ ERDŐBÉNYEI MULATÓ-HEGY KARBONÁTÁSVÁNYAI Cavity-filling carbonates of Mulató Hill, Erdőbénye, NE Hungary Weiszburg Tamás — Kovács Árpád — Bada Gábor — Jánosi Melinda — Lovas György — Olaszi Vendel — Papp Gábor — Szakáll Sándor Abstract Diverse mineral associations can be found in the vesicles of the dacite laccolith of Mulató Hill near Erdőbénye, NE Hungary. The most frequent constituents of these associations are carbonates. These carbonate minerals have calcite structure and show a wide range of chemical substitution in the Fe-MnCa system. The speciality of this paragenesis that it is practically free of magnesium, which may be in connection with the chemistry (extremely low magnesium content) of the surrounding dacite. The appearance of these carbonates is often spheroidal with several internal layers, however both siderite and calcite occur also as individual flat rhombohedra. On the basis of the substitutions five varieties of three carbonate species can be identified (Fig. 4). The most frequent constituent is siderite with two varieties (85-95 % FeC03, 5-15 % MnC0 3 or 60-70 % FeC03, 15-20 % MnC0 3 , 15-20 % CaC0 3 ). Calcite is also present in two varieties. One of them (55-95 % CaCCb, 545 % MnC03, 2-10 % FeC03) appears closely together with siderite while the other (practically pure CaC03) turns up separately as the last member of the paragenesis. The fifth variety formed also in close community with siderite was identified only in one occasion. This carbonate can be characterised with nearly equivalent substitution of the three cations (44 % MnC03, 31 % CaC03, 25 % FeC03) showing slight manganese surplus. As such it may be considered as rhodochrosite with a far from ideal composition. (Tab. 1-2). Összefoglalás Az Erdőbénye határában fekvő Mulató-hegy dácit lakkolitja hólyagüregeiben változatos ásványtársulás található. Ennek leggyakoribb tagjai a karbonátok. A karbonátásványok kalcitrácsúak és a Fe-Mn-Ca rendszerben tág határok közti
