THIS VOLUME IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF PROFESSOR KÁLMÁN SZTRÓKAY Introduction by Papp, G., Szakáll, S. & Weiszburg, T. The Mulató Hill laccolith (Fig. 1) emerges near to the village Erdőbénye, NE Hungary in the southern part of the Tokaj Mts. The Hubertus quarry (Fig. 2), worked between 1925-1983, was famous for the rich production of cavity-filling minerals. Earlier studies (Tokody, 1962a, 1962b; Tokody et al., 1957a, 1957b; Kulcsár & Bartha, 1971; Kákay Szabó, 1983) described 12 minerals (among them the doubtful species mauritzite), the papers of this volume de- scribe further 14 minerals (Table I). This volume is made by the contributions of several researchers and curators from the following institutions: Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest; Herman Ottó Museum, Miskolc; Hungarian Geological Survey, Budapest; Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Kossuth Lajos University, Debrecen; Uni­versity of Miskolc; University of Veszprém.
