A TÁJ ÉS A TÁJFORMÁLÓ EMBER - FRISNYÁK SÁNDOR: A Börzsöny-vidék tájhasználata a 18-19. században
Rational land use patterns conforming to the set of conditions provided by the agro-ecological potential was established by the turn of the 18th/19th century. Use of the extremely articulated and varied terrain has been stabilised and only minor corrections occurred during the 19th century. The Börzsöny-region joined the geographical division of labour by its mixed polyculture. Distribution of land by type of cultivation and the cadastre based net income of each land use method are summarised in Table 1 and 2, respectively. Beside the agrarian sector, precious and non-ferrous metal mining appeared in the Mediaeval, and manufacture industry in the 18th century, contributing to the anthropogenic transformation of the landscape with their respective set of operations.
