Heckenast Gusztáv: FINAL SPEECH OF THE PRESIDENT

future we may find such forms of organization and such possibilities may turn up for the organization which will be advantageous for us. For the time being this situation is most adequate. What do we need? First of all a basis for research. This basis for research is given in Herman Ottó Museum. The leaders of the museum are deeply concerned about the research of manufactures and other capitalistic industrial small enterprises. The researchers are also given who deal with this topic and these researchers have the professional and human relations with other institutes for research. So let it be a loose team which does not belong anywhere but is at home in the museum of Miskolc and whose members are connected through informal relations in both senses of the "in" preposition. It means bn the one hand that their relation is not formal and on the other hand that they inform one another. I think that in two or three years' time the researchers in Miskolc will be able to organize the next conférence. That is all I wanted to tell on account of the summary of results and the determination of the aims of research. But there was much to be done so that the results could be summarized and the aims of research determined. So I express my thanks for it. First I thank the Miskolc Academy Commission for making this wonderful hall available for us, then I thank the Borsod Iron Trust for assuring the financial means to the conference and finally I thank the staff of Herman Ottó Museum for arranging our accomodation and organizing the conference. Owing to their work I think we will always return here with pleasure. I thank every participant of the conference for his intellectual, organizational and physical work and I close the conference.
