In memoriam dr. Ujvári Jenő 607 olyan sok mindent halmozott fel egy-egy múzeum, hogy például a restaurálás ezt már nem tudja követni. A régió megyéinek szakosodott restaurátor műhelyei talán meg tudnának birkózni ezzel a mennyiséggel. Ez csak egy vízió, amit persze át kéne gondolni, mert a magyar röghöz kötöttség nem kedvez annak, hogy a tudós, a kutató másik megyébe menjen dolgozni, kutatni. Erről a szakma hallani sem akar. In Memoriam dr. Jenő Ujvári Andrea Pásztor Dr. Jenő Ujvári, who departed on February 6, 2016, was the director of the Baranya County Museums, including Janus Pannonius Museum, between 1983 and 1993. Under his leadership the Historical Department of the Museum (Municipal History Museum) was established, the composition of “Street” by Erzsébet Schaar was built, and the institution was expanded with several permanent exhibitions, including Endre Nemes, Ferenc Martyn, Amerigo Tot. In 2012, for his own request, an interview was made with him, whereby he remembers the years spent in the museum. He also found it important to outline what kind of museum development and breakthrough opportunities he considered feasible at the time of the conversation.
