MÚZEUMPEDAGÓGIA - Gál Éva – Huszár Zsuzsanna – Potkovácz Milán: Beszámoló a roma holokauszt téma múzeumi feldolgozásáról. A Janus Pannonius Múzeum és a Pécsi Tudományegyetem módszertani fejlesztő projektje
A Janus Pannonius Múzeum Évkönyve ( 2017 ) 556 Report on the Processing of the Romani Holocaust Subject by the Museum Methodological development project of the Janus Pannonius Museum and the University of Pécs Éva Gál – Zsuzsanna Huszár – Milán Potkovácz Janus Pannonius Museum opened its new permanent exhibition in 2015 titled Parajmos – Romani Holocaust. As a part of processing of the topic of Holocaust in school education, we would also like to recommend the exhibition to teachers. According to our experience the topic is processed by teachers for several occasions. ?us, we thought that the exhibition could become an integral part of school projects processing the subject. ?e National Core Curriculum includes a number of developmental areas and educational goals, which can be achieved through the holistic presentation of the subject of holocaust and romani holocaust. ?e exhibition dealing with the subject is also a good opportunity to get to know the historical events in depth. We highlighted credibility and personal involvement as an important aspect. We designed materials to be used in museum educational work, which can be given to the teachers, whereby they can plan the museum’s visit and program. We also considered its importance to utilize the “modules” completed for memorial days. In the autumn of 2015, under the cooperation with the University of Pécs, a museum-educational methodological development project related to the exhibition was realized under the supervision of Dr. Zsuzsanna Huszár (PhD, Assistant Professor – PTE Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational and Educational ?eory) and Dr. Tibor Cserti Csapó (PhD – Department of Romani Studies and of Educational Sociology) and Attila Márfi retired Chief of archives (Editor of ?e People of the Camps, ?e Romani Holocaust). ?e three authors of the study present the completed project approaching it from the perspective of the museum, the university lecturer and the students involved in the work, which resulted in valuable works that are really useful in museum educational activity.
