368 A Janus Pannonius Múzeum Évkönyve (2015) Deaf and hard of hearings at the museum Éva Gál In 2012 we started regular programs for the deaf and hard of hearings on the Historical Department of JPM, which has been reported to success. The preparation, organization and evaluation work was in cooperation with our partner (SINOSZ, Organization of Baranya County). The workshops allowed of EU tenders and museum staff’s knowledge of sign. Several types of programs implemented: guided tours, lec­tures, slide shows, film clubs, complex tasks and „focus on finds” section. Featured roles the sense of feeling, smell, pictorial and visual materials to incorporate into the program. The preparation and execution of the plan should be longer. The important environmen­tal requirement, that the sign language interpreter can interpreter on a clearly visible and illuminated space for the deaf. A big help for the hard of hearings if the room is equipped with an induction loop.
