It is a widely distributed species in Southeastern Europe. The female of Stactobia species generally were not presented by the earlier authors. Female of caspersi is very characteristic and it can be distinguished easily from those of other species (Fig. 5). KUMANSKI (1985) depicted both sexes, his figures differs slightly from our ones. This hydroptilid was swept only at Furtoug, in a hygropetric biotop. Hydropsyche sciligra Malicky, 1977. The species was described from Iran (MALICKY 1977). Later it was captured in Afghanistan (MALICKY 1986) and in Turkey
