Természettudományok - Nógrádi, Sára–Uherkovich, Ákos: Preliminary report on the Trichoptera fauna of the Chechen-Ingoosh ASSR, Soviet Union

ON TRICHOPTERA OF CHECHEN-INGOOSH ASSR 35 they had a very large morphological variability in their phallus and harpago, mostly. Further, intensive examination will settle the systematical position of these Hydropsyche specimens. Glossosoma unguiculatum Mart. Simultaneously with 9 males of Glossosoma unguiculatum Mart. 37 unknown females were taken. We must suppose that these females are of unguiculatum Mart. Terminal of her abdomen is depicted on the Fig. 2, the structure differs from other known species. On the Caspian Lowland 17 species were collected. To this area only 31 species are referred by Botosanaenu andMalicky (197$), namely this area is practically unkown in trichopterological respect. 7 of our 17 species have not been figured from here earlier (Hydroptila dampf i Ulm. , H. spars a Curt. , Hydropsyche ornatula McL., Holocentropus picicornis Steph., Triaenodes simulans Tjed., Leptocerus tineiformis Curt, and Parasetodes respersella Ramb.). All species wich were collected around Voskresenskoye and Starogladovskaya have a large area, in some cases they have palaearctic one, and even, Agrypniapagetana Curt, is holarctic species. Now we do not give ecological observations, but within few years, after further field work we shall do so. Summary Two expeditions, invited by Grozniy State University, collected 503 male and 1848 female caddisflies belonging to at least 40 species. In Caucasus 4 species were taken, which have not had data from here earlier. The unknown female of Glossosoma unguiculatum Mart, is depicted. On the Caspian Lowland 17 species were captured. All of them have large area, some of tern are palaearctic or holarctic. We hope that this work will go on in the future and several new data and ecoligical observations will be obtained from this Republic. Acknowledgements B.Herczig invited one of the co-authors of this paper and Prof. V. Kan-Kalik ensured the conditions of expedition to us thus we express our sincere thanks to them. We thank T. Yu.
