This species was published first from Szilvásvárad, Northern Mountains (Kiss 1983). Later it was found in light trap material of Abod, also Northern Mountains (Nógrádi—Uherkovich 1988a), and at Jósvafő, N. Hungary (coll. JPM, Pécs). This species lives in the Northern Mountains (Újhelyi 1974, 1985, Kiss 1981, Nógrádi— Uherhovich 1988a), Nógrádi 1989a), in the Bakony Mountains (Újhelyi 1979), at Szóce (Nógrádi 1989b), Zamárdi nearby the Balaton Lake Nógrádi et al. 1985), in Kőszeg Mts. (Nógrádi— Uherkovich 1989), at Verőce (Chantaramongkol 1983) and in the Pilis-Visegrád Mountains (Nógrádi et al.).
