Discussion The most important result was the discovery of Plectrocnemia minima Klapálek in the Eastern Mecsek Mountains. This species was described from the Southern Carpathians (Cornareva). Since its first report it was again published by Botosäneanu (1967), who had collected about twenty-five males along the rivers Cherna and Belareka, also in the S. Carpathians. Botosäneanu and Malicky (1978) mentioned it from "Banat bis Timok", namely the species lives in NE Yugoslavia, too. Kumanski (1988) has taken a male in Bulgaria, we also collected there, in the Pirin Mountains, at Banderitza House (Aug. 5,1985, coll. Janus Pannonius Museum, Pécs). The first and only Hungarian specimen a male - was captured by the light trap of Óbánya, on May 28, 1986. The first Synagapetus krawanyi Ulmer was reported from the Eastern Mecsek Mountains (Nógrádi 1984, 1987). Further specimens were taken in the recent years, too, and we collected this species in the Kőszeg Mountains also (Nógrádi-Uherkovich 1989). The other mutual species of Mecsek Mountains and Kőszeg Mountains is Rhyacophila hirticornis McL. Further specimen was captured at its well known locality, at Vékény, Valley "Vár-völgy". Years ago it was relatively frequent in the Valley "Éger-völgy", Western Mecsek Mountains. In the year 1990 this small brook was almost dry, only one male was swept here. Chaetopteryx schmidi mecsekensis Nógrádi is a stable component of Trichoptera community in late autumn, early winter. Several specimens were taken in the past
