Door-stone Td3, giving access to room X, was found „in situ" on wall W25 in the NE corner of the room (Fig. 93,101). The gritty soil in the centre of the room was considerably burnt, with pieces of charcoal in it. The mass of plain plaster found "in situ" on either side of wall W25 (in rooms R and U) has delayed subsequent to its recovery. The remnants of the 75 cm wide stone wall W19a, dating from an earlier period, were also disocvered here, under the W outer wall of the room (W19). In the course of wood preservation we hit upon a ground level burnt red near wall W23 in the E end of
