Papp Beáta: Néhány aktuális adat Pécs környékének érdekes, ritka moháiról - egy fontos mohavédelmi terület kijelölése

50 DUNÁNTÚLI DOLGOZATOK (A) TERMÉSZETTUDOMÁNYI SOROZAT 12 Some actual data about the valuable, rare bryophytes from the surrounding of Pécs - selection of an IBrA (Important Bryophyte Area) BEÁTA PAPP Department of Botany, Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest PO. Box. 222. H-1476. £-mm/.pappbea@bot.nhmus.hu On the basis of the species found, Eger-valley and Jakab Mt in the Mecsek Mts can be selected as an Important Bryophyte Area (IBrA) in Hungary. Several rare and indicator species (indicator of good natural, semi-natural habitats) were collected on the territory in 2007 during a short field trip. The most valuable findings are the small leafy hepatics (Marsupella funckii, Scapania irrigua ) living on acidic soil in beech forests, and the large patches of the two Leucobryum species (L. glaucum, L. juniperoideum) containing some other mosses rare in Hungary like Ditrichum heteromallum, Dicranum flagellare. The Zsongorkő rock at Jakab Mt preserves 50 years the only population of Grimmia montana in our country. On the Egertető, which is a part of Jakab Mt, a Sphagnum (Sphagnum fallax) occurrence can also be found in a small lake surrounded by oak forest. But the two species (Rhynchostegium rotundifolium, Taxiphyllum densifolium) red-listed in Europe and recorded 50 years ago in this valley were not found. And the presence of several leafy hepatics rare in Hungary like Jungermannia hyalina, Lophozia bicrenata, Lophozia incisa, Lophozia longiflora, Scapania nemorea could also not be proved. Hence, the further examination of the territory is necessary to improve our knowledge about the rare species occurring here. But the preliminary results are already so promising that the selection of the Éger valley and Jakab Mt as a potential IBrA (Important Bryophyte Area) of the Mecsek Mts is supported. In the entrance of the Abaligeti cave some valuable rare species (e.g. Seligeria pusilla ) are also present, but the investigation of the wider surrounding, which can provide more data about bryophyte rarities, is still lacking.
