Jaromir Kovárnik: Az őskori ember hitvilágának tanulmányozása. A sámánizmus kutatása a régészetben

A probe into the spiritual life of prehistoric people, a reflection of shamanism in archaeology bowl. Would it be a mere coincidence or intent? Seven female statuettes were in the model of the „house” at the Cucuteni culture in a site at Ghelâieçti (phase Cucuteni Bl, 3700-3500 BC). Female figurines of thirty-two were found in a „house", a shrine at Tripylje / Tripolje's settlement at Sabatinovka in Ukraine, or a set of figurines from Platia Magoula Zarka in northern Greece (Bailey 2009,116, Fig. 5-3, 5-4, 5-5). The findings of a set of four terracotta female statuettes, „thrones" and three altars of the tell-settlement Ovcarovo / Ovcharovo (Todorova 1973) in northeast Bulgaria are excellent. Described sets of anthropomorphic statuettes are undoubtedly related to ritual activities apparently to the cult of fertility and fruitfulness of the Neolithic farmers. Shamans / women shamans / priests? made these practices of cult. Twelve female and male statuettes (6 pairs) from Dume^ti evoke data at the simple rondel of the Lengyel culture stage I (Kuzma - Lieskovskÿ 2007, 63, Fig. 2a) near the village Prasnik, Piestany district (southwest Slovakia). The question of possible interpretations therefore arises. We know that there are usually no archaeological features outside the palisade gutters. In this case, however, there are twelve large pits (4-6 m diameter; silos for storage of grain7, sacrificial pits?, etc.), which are distributed regularly in a circle along the inner edge of the ditch in groups of three exactly in segments between the northern, eastern, southern and western entrances to this rondel (FIG. 14). However, it is necessary to exclude the random occurrence of these twelve Fig. 14. Prasnik, Piestany district, southwest Slovakia.
