Pásztor Emília: A bronzkori hidelmek és a természet kapcsolata a Kárpát-medencében
The Relationship of Bronze Age Beliefs and Nature in the Carpathian Basin Beside the Bodrogkeresztur-type vessels, skeletons of many animals, including two frogs and at least 11 serpents, were found. The right hand of the dead was chopped off and rested on a rabbit's body (Fig. 9, Raczky 2013). Respect for snakes has existed from the Prehistory to perhaps until now (Figs. 10-11). The folk group who created the most beautiful lime-encrusted vessels lived during the middle of the Bronze Age (1800 - 1500 BC). Their cemetary of about one and a half hundred graves was discovered at the construction of road No 61. The grave No. 840 also contained special, birdshaped rattles (Fig. 12).
