Klára K u t i Museum presentation of migration, examples from the practice of the German Nationality Museum in Tata There is no information about the history of the migration of the Hungarian Germans in the collection of the German Nationality Museum of Tata. The presentation of migration was not the original aim of the museum. The historical research work has carried out a complex exploratory work in this area over the last decades. The museum practice - adapting to social expectations - cannot ignore this chapter of the history and identity of the Hungarian Germans. The author seeks the answers to the following questions: How to musealise the culture of the minorities without reinforcing divergence, exclusion, difference and exoticism? Is it possible to represent the discursive interpretation of the minority culture, which depends on the majority of the society, in the museum?
