Jaromir Kovarnik: Rondellák. Többcélú közösségi terek, ahol az idő múlását is megfigyelték a késő neolit közösségek

Neolithic. We suppose therefore that these localities were central Late Neolithic settlements. Remarkably, in ditches of rondels, especially in southern Moravia, highly important archaeological finds have been revealed. First of all, are torsos of terracotta female statues, so called Venuses. We list parts of female sculptures from the simple rondel at Bëhafovice, Znojmo district (Fig. 2-4). Statuettes have also shown hairstyles (Fig. 2-3). One has tapered edges of the hull, which is not usual (Fig. 2). Another torso of a female sculpture comes from the locality with a double rondel near Kfepice, Znojmo district (Fig. 5). Small models of altars are also among the most valuable archaeological finds, such as from ditch fillings of simple rondels at Béhafovice and at Tésetice—Kyjovice. Find parts of the vessels and their fragments with plastic decorated and serviceable elements are in filling ditches. We found fragments of vessels with painted decoration or incised decorative motifs, e.g. in the ditch of the simple rondel at Bëhafovice. We stress that we often also find bovine horns in pointed bases of ditches (e.g. near Bëhafovice, Tësetice-Kyjovice, Vedrovice, Znojmo district, Rasovice, Vyskov district etc.). We found the same kinds of archaeological finds on other settlements of the Moravian - East—Austrian group, such as at Oblekovice in the Znojmo district. We list a very interesting type of female statuette from the A rondellában talált női szobrocska felső részének töredéke. Béhafovice. Béhafovice, district Znojmo. Upper part of a female statuette from the rondel Bëhafovice (South-Moravian Museum in Znojmo, inv. No. A 30267/2844). 91
