Jaromir Kovarnik: Rondellák. Többcélú közösségi terek, ahol az idő múlását is megfigyelték a késő neolit közösségek

A rondella alaprajza. Tfebovétice. Trebovétice, Dist. Jicfn. The plan of the rondel with ditches and ramparts (after Vokolek 1993, 84, Fig. 31). rondel has an orientation of 305°. Theoretically the northeastern entrance seems to be around 35°, the southeast entrance ca 125° and the southwestern entrance 215°. In the case of the northwest entrance to the triple rondel Plotisté n / L II its direction faces the sunset of the summer solstice. (The sun then falls on the tropic of Cancer about 26° right of the West, azimuth ca 296°). The sun sets in the place of the triple rondel Plotisté n / L II (currently) on the summer solstice at 20:10 and rises at 3:45. On the winter solstice the sun rises at 7:53 and sets at 15:55. Entrances oriented to the northeast and northwest, could answer the question, with a certain degree of probability, whether the sunrise and sunset of the summer solstice and the entrances to the southeast and the southwest correspond with the directions of the sunrise and sunset of the winter solstice which were influenced by the Eagle mountains on the eastern horizon. Most of the rondels have four entrances directed in accordance with important astronomical dates in the calendar year, most probably in compliance with the sunrise on the date of the vernal equinox. Some rondels, however, could also be directed at sunrise on solstices. The orientation entrances into rondels but may be modified based on the relief of the local landscape. This is particularly true of the ridges of hills and mountains on the eastern horizon of the rondel, which could „delay" sunrises of the equinox or, at the time of the solstice, toward the south. Other entrances dissented due to this reason. We don’t exclude that the other rondels could also have directed their entrances to the moon and to significantly shining stars or constellations. 115
