„Minerals of Hungary”, Mike Toth’s most significant work

Mike Toth’s book is the only work that offers a comprehensive description of the minerals of historical Hungary. Earlier mineralogical papers, books, collections or the experiences of field trips all served as sources for his work.

The descriptions are arranged in alphabetical order of the mineral species, and of occurrences for each species. Special care is taken to give the exact locations for occurrences.

Toth’s work is seminal reading for mineralogists and mineral collectors even today.
