The Transylvanian Salt Chamber Bailiffs of the Era of Matthias Corvinus after the Treasury Reform

The study presents the brief biographies of the Transylvania Salt Chamber bailiffs (14 persons) between 1467 and 1490. It observes that the leaders of the salt management often changed. This is how it is possible that the ruler often rewarded other services with this post. However, it can be established that the necessary skills of a candidate were a precondition to his appointment.
