Students from Hungary at Schools in Bohemian Provinces in the 19th Century

By the end of the 19th century, the Slovak national movement in Bohemia and Hungary developed wide-ranging cooperation based on the idea of the Czechoslovak (national) unity. In 1895, its organizer became the Czecho-Slavic Association. The study examines the role of education in the organizational development of this movement, giving an overview also of the role of secondary and primary educational institutes besides the Czech university in Prague operating from 1882.
