Physics Coursebooks, Technical and Popularizing Physics in Hungary in the Reform Era and in the Age of Absolutism (1825-1860)

It is for the first time that we tried to gain a complete overview of the physics and technical physics works published in Pest-Buda in the Age of Enlightenment and the Reform Era. In this period, the oldest university of sciences and technical college was in Pest-Buda, and several physics coursebooks came from here; in addition, significant secondary schools could write their own physics coursebooks, too. Several valuable translations also came into being between 1777 and 1850.
