Levéltártan - Sasfi Csaba: Egészségügyi dokumentáció mint a levéltáros szakma (egyik) nagy kihívása
CSABA S ASFI HEALTHCARE DOCUMENTATION AS A (ONE) MAJOR CHALLENGE IN THE ARCHIVAL PROFESSION The aim of the study is to review the current problem of archiving healthcare documentation (medical records, hospital records, clinical records). First, according to the archival professional point of view, I present the concept of healthcare document and the regulation of its management, and then I examine the healthcare documentation as a record type and its content. In the next step, I delineate the status, quantity, and locations of this special record. Next, I outline the possibilities of utilizing the content of this particular type of document, showing some examples of its usage, from medical-healing analyzes to medical, mental, and social history processing. Finally, I recommend the use of archival sampling in this area as an option for the most expedient preservation of this particular type of document. Levéltártan 146
