1 next Wednesday by Deputy who will inform you. The Hungarian Government has agreed to this step and will make known the fact that it has been submitted here. You are requested to report by wire the presentation of the memorandum; I shall then advise you as to the attitude to be adopted.

In compliance with a request by the German Government submitted through our Viennese Legation, I have authorized that Legation to place at the disposal of the German Government the comparative data relating to our joint military operations, i. e., the period up to the armistice concluded on November 3, 1918, with a view to refuting the Italian and Yugoslav reparation claims.
