Bolgár szempontok az aktuális bolgár-macedón vitában defined themselves as Bulgarians. This means that the communist ideology is linked to the newly established Macedonian national identity. However, the negation of the Bulgarian past, as well as the creation of the Macedonian national history, hurts the Bulgarian national identity, keeping in mind that the country had 4 devastating wars in order to get unified with Macedonia. The role and the big number of descendants of Bulgarophil Macedonian immigrants make the Bulgarian public opinion extremely sensitive toward any anti-Bulgarian propaganda coming from the actual Republic of Macedonia. That is why the solution of the actual Macedonian-Bulgarian debates are more difficult to be resolved than the Macedonian-Greek name issue. 2014. ősz 65
