After all, it may be stated that the British and the French diplomacy mainly acted, being well aware of facts and thorough grounded, with utmost goodwill towards Hungary at the negotiations of the Hungarian treaty of peace. Nevertheless, the Hungarian conditions of peace did not improve, and that did not depend on France but on the solely determining power factor of the region: the Soviet Union.
