^letters (Eo (Ehe itilitor Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Here is my check for the renewal of this most interesting magazine. The day I receive it, I glance through it and, before I put it down, I have read it all. I am American-born, but very much Hungarian. I read, write, and love everything Hungarian. Incidentally, my daughter Barbara Kleinschmitt is also a subscriber. Mrs. Barbara Racz Van Nuys, California Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Enclosed is my check to renew my subscription to the Hungarian Heritage Review for another year. I look forward to each issue and would never want to be without it. Mary Pinter Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Dear Sir: Please renew my subscription for another year. I find so many wonderful things in it to read: some historic; some stories on the life and times of Hungarian heroes; and also the music sheet in each issue of the magazine. My parents and husband came from Hungary, so you can see why I am so interested in the things in your magazine. I was born here in America, but a little part of my heart is still Hungarian. Thank you and hope you keep it up. Mrs. Louis Mertus Hellertown, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Pulitzer: I enjoy reading the Hungarian Heritage Review very much. My brother showed little interest in his heritage until lately and I thought this would be a perfect Birthday present for him. Also, would it be possible to maybe publish in one of your issues a letter like this: “Our name is Jevcsak and we would like to know if there are any other Jevcsaks around in the U.S. or Canada.” While my father was alive, he traveled around the country and looked for other Jevcsaks in the phone books. He couldn’t find any. So, as far as we know, we are the only ones here in the U.S. Lillian Jevcsak Zbinda Shohola, Pennsylvania (EDITOR’S NOTE: We would be pleased to publish such letters of inquiry from readers seeking missing relatives, friends, namesakes, and the like.) Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Please renew for Karen Grah as a Birthday gift. We both enjoy your publication so much and are always surprised at the famous people who are of Hungarian heritage. Mrs. Margaret Grah Grand Island, Florida (EDITOR’S NOTE: Mrs. Grah’s daughter — Lt. Karen Grah USN — is profiled in this issue.) Dear Mr. Pulitzer: The enclosed check is for another year’s subscription and for another year of interesting reading. We thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the receipt of your publication, and sincerely hope for its continued success. Mrs. Alex Koroknay Trinton, Michigan Dear Sir: I am a first generation Hungarian-American and very proud of my roots. This magazine is an educational tool, keeping us informed about Hungary’s past and present and providing us with enlightening articles about the Hungarians among us. I enjoy the magazine very much. Keep up the good work. Mrs. Ruby Leho Edwards Norton, Virginia Dear Mr. Pulitzer: I notice that my subscription will run out. Enclosed is my check for another year. I sure do not want it to lapse. My friends (non-Hungarian) also enjoy reading my copies of the “Review”. Please keep up the good work!
