special Sri-State jWa ^Report Wedding Anniversary of Steve and Anna (Hertznel) Toth, who were married on October 30, 1928, in St. Emory’s R.C. Church in Connellsville. This “Milestone-in-Marriage” was quietly celebrated at the home of the couple in Bobtown by daughter, Ann; son, Paul; daughter-in-law, Vicki; and grandchildren: Stephen, the twins Catherine and Scott; and by Stephen’s lovely fiance, Betsy. Poor, old St. George out in the cold. NOVEMBER 1988: After “Turkey Day", the end of the year approaches very quickly. This makes me wonder what poor, old St. George is doing out there all by his lonesome in the garden patio of the William Penn Home in Wellsburg, West Virginia. Come on Mr. Stephen Danko & William Penn Association! Can’t you do something about covering poor old St. George with a fresh coat of paint and dolling up his gardenlike background? This way, the elderly folks living there can enjoy seeing him on cold, wintery, and snowy days. After all, poor, old St. George stands there tall and looks as if he is ready to defend the Hungarian Heritage against all comers! DECEMBER 1988: It seems that the children of my HHR colleague, Stephen Paulovitch and his dear wife, Linda, really try to help their parents by tackling chores around the house. This way, Steve can do his bit for the HHR in peace, etc. Jimmy and Stephanie, by the way, can be said to be “Tri-Heritaged” in the sense that their father teaches them all about their Hungarian Heritage, while their mother teaches them all about their Norwegian Heritage. Their American Heritage, of course, comes to both naturally. Jimmy ducks behind a tree to avoid the camera’s “eye”. Stephanie laboring over the dishes. NOW LET’S SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN 1989! 12 HUNGARIAN HERITAGE REVIEW JANUARY 1989
