It has also sponsored the publication, under the publishing imprint of the “Rákóczi Press”, of such books as “ 1000 Years of the Hungarian Art of War”, “Larmafa”, and the bestseller, “The Spirit of Hungary”, authored by Stephen Sisa. CURRENT PROJECTS The Rákóczi Foundation has proclaimed 1985 as “Rákóczi Year” and, in commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the death of Prince Ferenc Rákóczi II, has announced its sponsorship of a $10,000 International Literary Competition on the subject of ‘ 'The Spiritual Legacy of Ferenc Rákóczi II”. This competition is open to anyone, regardless of age, educational qualifications, or country of residence outside Hungary. The deadline date for all submissions, in any language, but with a minimum of 50 typewritten pages, doublespaced, is March 31, 1986. For more information, write to: Rákóczi Foundation, P.O. Box 67, Station “L”, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M6E-4Y4. The organization is also planning to publish “Rákóczi and America” by Dr. Elemer Bako as a volume in its “Rákóczi Foundation Heritage Series”. This particular project was introduced by Dr. Bako at the Rákóczi Memorial Dinner held in Washington on April 26th under the joint sponsorship of the Rákóczi Foundation and the American Hungarian Federation. The introduction of this publication is also a part of the programs planned for “Rákóczi Year 1985”. OPERATIONAL FINANCING The large variety of programs and projects sponsored by the Rákóczi Foundation, including collegiate scholarships, are financed by organizational dues and subsidies, special governmental grants, corporate donations, private donations,the sale of books and periodicals, and other sources of revenue.
