Frigyes Hocker accomplished his obligatory test-preacher's service in the Nyíregyháza congregation before commencing his theological studies according to the Methodist church rules. The Methodist Annual Conference having examined Ms character aptitude and vocation for the pastor's service, recommended him for theological schooling unanimously,
