In view of all these benefits, we must thank God for His grace whereby He has led our churoh in the past five years, and it must be in this spirit of thanksgiving that we must declare our willingriesS to serve our people with the benefits of the Gospel, in this people!s republic which makes this possible and not only upholds the freedom of religion that is guaranteed in the constitution, but in exercising this freedom, it lends its material assistance to our church. The law of separating the church from the state will make, in the course of its execution, our church stand on her own basis, thereby fulfiling our hope and conviction that, after the oarzying into effect of this law, we shall be able to show our dis­interested love, with its fruits, to our people, in mutual understanding.
