Please join us for the 5TH ANNUAL HUMAN RIGHTS WORKSHOP JUNE 10-12, 1994 UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD CAMPUS HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT Organized and sponsored by the Hungarian American Coalition, the Hungarian Communion of Friends, the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation, the Hungarian American Human Rights Council, the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America and the American Association of Young Hungarians. The Workshop will begin at 7 pm Friday night, June 10th, with a Plenary Session-Public Forum. Expert instructors in the fields of history, government relations, grassroots political organizations, information networks and the media will lead the Saturday and Sunday sessions. Topics will include the historical background and present condition of ethnic minorities in the East Central European region. In addition, we will discuss the American political process, the treatment of ethnic minorities in the American media, and what we, as Hungarian Americans, can do to inform the policy makers as well as the general public.
