The population of Hungary proper reached the 10 million mark this summer. Miklós Rózsa has won his third “Academy Award” for his music composed for “Ben Hur”. Ernst von Dohnányi, the noted Hungarian composer and pianist died o February 9 in exile in the U.S.A. Julius Zsakó (New York) reports on the New York premiere of Kodály’s “Háry János”, presented by the Juilliard Music School.
