Dr. S. S. de Finály: Data to the stability of chemical composition of mineralwaters I. New chemical analysis of the „Ágnes" spring of Moha
194 S, S. de Finály Sum of solids: 1.73710 1.50950 1.4240 grams in 1000 g. Free CO2 2.34874 2.32514 2.3125 grams in 1000 g. We can yet mention that Prof. Lengyel examined the water also in the year 1902 and found its composition exactly the same as previously, containing the same chief components in the same ratio to each other. The amount of free carbonic other even increased a bit, as equalling 2.4034 grams per liter. Summarizing the results we can affirm the statement of Lengyel even now, after 54 years of the first complete analysis. The chemical character and composition of Ágnes spring remained the same. The sum of total solids and the amount of the free carbonic acid shows a slow declining tendency and a respective decrease can be also observed in the millival per cents of calcium, magnesium and hydrocarbonate ions. Naturally the millival per cents of sodium, potassium and chloride show a corresponding increase. It seems that the balance of the geological layers of which this water takes its origin has not been overturned during the course of the 54 years which elapsed since the first examination of Lengyel.
