Gedeon Tihamér: Hidrológiai megfigyelések a Vértes-hegység délkeleti részéből

Analysis of the water of the Government Boring No. 2. at Hajdúszoboszló 125 I can yet add that in Hajdúszoboszló a salt layer is deposited within the pipes owing to the continuous cooling down of the hot water. A sample of this salt crust was analysed by me and it proved to consist of CaO: 51.96 % MgO: 1.68 „ CO2: 43.31 „ SiOa: 0.20 „ FeaOs: 2.08 „ K2O: 0.02 „ Na 20: 0.32 „ CI: 0.04 „ SO4: traces Total: 99.61 % As above data show this crust consisted of calcium and magnesium carbonates defiled by some iron dissolved of the pipes and some alkali salts wich got within the depositting salt crust. The author is indebted to thank to Mr. Ferenc Böhm Chief of Mining Division of the Royal Hungarian Ministry of Finance for his kind permission to publish the above data, further to Dr. Kálmán Emszt, Vice-Director of the Royal Hungarian Geological Survey for his valuable advices during this work.
