Early afternoon the group meets the guide in the lobby of the hotel. Sightseeing in Eger, a visit to the Basilica (organ concert).

A visit to the Thummerer’ wine-cellar: welcoming drink, introduction to the 2000 m2 cellar-system carved in volcanic tufa, now home to Thummerer’s wines, the technology of wine-making, the wine tanks built by Swiss artisans at the beginning of the centuiy and the late earl’s family’s chapel and crypt carved in the hillside. Wine-tasting with wine- snacks or a cold dish Hungarian’ style.

In the evening hours: a visit to one of the events of Summer Night Music’ in the De la Motte Mansion.

The visit to the ‘Thummerer’ wine-cellar is available for groups throughout the year.
