VOROS-TO MIDDLE TOUR

It is about a two-hour, 2.3-kilometre long walk in the Jósvafő section of the Baradla Cave. The tour leaves from the Vörös-tó entrance, and ends at the cave entrance at Jósvafő. The route follows the bed of the underground stream, Styx. You will see the “Astronomical Telescope”, which is the highest stalagmite not only of the cave system but of all Hungary, and also the so-called "Giants' Hall", which is the biggest room of the cave system. During your visit, you will have a unique experience of listening to music here.

Schedule of the tours:

• In the high season, tours leave at 9.00 a.m., 1.00, and 2.50 p.m. even only with one participant. There is also a possibility to visit the cave between the official times, but only with the purchase of ten adult tickets.

• In the low season, tours leave at 12.00 a.m. even only with one participant. There is also a possibility to visit the cave at other than the official time, but only with the purchase of ten adult tickets.

Admission fee: 900 HUF/person

This offer is available for visitors who plan to see the two parts of the cave system in two consecutive days.

Completing one of the tours you can purchase your reduced price ticket at the other ticket office. Our attendant will ask for your original ticket. Visitors have to transfer between the two sites (6 kilometres on the National Blue Trail) individually.- Combined admission fee for tour a.: 1,300 HUF/person- Combined admission fee for tour b.: 1,100 HUF/person

The reduced price tickets are available at both ticket offices at Aggtelek and Jósvafő.
