Kedves vendégeink Az Egervi'n-kupa nemzetközi vízilabdatorna alkalmából köszöntőm Önöket Heves megye székhelyén, a történelmi múltjáról, műemlékeiről, gyógyvízéről és nem utolsó sorban borairól híres Egerben. Városunkban a vízilabda sport évtizedes tradíciókkal rendelkezik. Nyaranta a hagyományápolás jegyében tartjuk meg az Egervin-kupát, amelyen hazai és külföldi csapatok mérik össze felkészültségüket. A három napos tornát ez alkalommal is a sportuszodában bonyolítjuk le, s én bízom abban, hogy a mérkőzések legalább any- nyira tűzbe hozzák majd Önöket, mint a táj világhírű bora, a rubinszínű, fenséges Egri Bikavér. Az Egervin Borgazdasági Kombinát és az Eger Sportegyesület nevében engedjék meg, hogy a résztvevő csapatoknak sportszerű, tudásuk legjavát megcsillantó találkozókat, a szurkolóknak pedig élvezetes mérkőzéseket, kellemes időtöltést kívánjak! Váradi János az Egervin vezérigazgatója Dear Guests I should like to welcome you on the occasion of the „Egervin” international Water-polo Cup here in Eger, in the centre of the county „Heves” famous for it’s historical past, ancient monuments, curative water and last but not least for it’s wine. In our town water-polo has traditions of several decades. Preserving these traditions the „Egervin” Cup is organized year by year in every summer, where the teams from Hungary and from abroad measure their strength with each other. This three-day competition will be held in the swimming-pool this time as well, and I do hope that the matches will heat you to such an extent as the world-famous ruby red, excellent wine of the region, the Egri Bikavér does. On behalf of the Egervin State Wine Company and the Sport Club of Eger I wish the participants interesting and succesful matches, where they can show their best abilities, and exciting competitions and enjoyable pastime to the water-polo fans.
