The „WELLCOME FOUNDATION Ltd”

With the approval of the International Equestrian Federation the British Wellcome Foundation Ltd — one of the largest pharmaceutical companies throughout the world, an important trading partner of Hungary, has been given the right to put its name on the emblem of the world championships against payment.

Wellcome Foundation Ltd is the parent company of a British-owned international group of pharmaceutical and chemical companies; it employs almost 20.000 persons in over fifty countries: every tenth staff member has a diploma or some other professional qualification. The group’s return from sales was 675 million £ last year.

Since its founding in 1880 the Wellcome Foundation has been in the first ranks of public health and zootherapy; it supports medical and health research in hospitals and at universities throughout the world.
