Photo contest The Organizing Committee of the Vllth World Driving Championship the Office for Physical Education and Sports of the Executive Committee of the Heves County Council, the Mátra and Bükk Executive Committee and the Hungarian Advertising Company announce a national photo competition to record the events of the VHth World Driving Championship: „THE BEAUTIES OF RIVALRY” contest. The competition is open: anybody, professionals and amateurs alike are welcome, with photos of sportsmen making preparations for the world driving championship, events of the trainings and the competitions, experts, establishments etc. taken at the Vllth World trainings and the com-Driving Championships. Participants with black white photos can send in not more than 5 exhibition-size paper pictures or series of pictures with the smaller dimension being not less than 24 cm for each participant (participants with colour paper photos not more than 5 exhibition size pictures or series of pictures with the smaller dimension being not less than 24 cm for each participant) and a series of pictures consisting of 5 colour slides or series of slides. In any of these three categories, each series of pictures is considered as one picture. The jury will not disjoint series of pictures, but it will evaluate each of them as one work. Organizers have their disposal 20 thousand Forints for awards. Deyond that, a honorary prize offered by the Association of Hungarian Amateur Photo Clubs and Professional Circles and 5 other honorary prizes will be distributed. Deadline for the presentation of the photos: 30 October 1984. Jury: 12 November 1984. Exhibition: up to 20 November 1984. Announcement: November—December 1984 (Eger).
