A Polaroid Corporation felkérésére nagyméretű színes Polaroid fotósorozatot készít. Fotóiból és fotogramjaiból összegző kiállítást rendeznek New Yorkban az International Center of Photography- ban. 1989 Műveinek jelentős részét Magyarországnak (Eger városának,) adományozta. 1990 A Polaroid Corporation Kepes fotóiból és fotogramjaiból egy kiállítást vándoroltat az Egyesült Államokban. 1991 Megnyílt műveinek állandó kiállítása Egerben. 1984 1979 His Fundamental works entitled The Language of Visions The New Image of the World in Art and Science were published in Hungarian. 1980 In the subsequent years he organized a number of exhibitions presenting his paintings. He carried on with his activities as a painter. 1984 Commissioned by Polaroid Corporation, he prepared a series of large-size colour Polaroid photos. A retrospective exhibition was compiled from his photos and photograms at New York’s International Center of Photography. 1989 He donated a significant number of his works to Hungary, namely to the town of Eger, the Academy of Applied Arts, the Association of Hungarian Photographic Artists. 1990 Polaroid Corporation organized a touring exhibition in the United States showing Kepes’s photos and photograms. 1991 The permanent exhibition of his works has been opened in Eger. 16
