DAS „PHILHARMONIE” BLÄSERQUINTETT (Ungarn) Das „Philharmonie” Bläserquintett wurde von Solisten der Ungarischen Nationalphilharmonie gegründet. Die Mitglieder des Ensembles sind international bekannte Künstler ihrer Instrumente. Sie unternehmen zusammen mit verschiedenen Kammerorchestern (Ferenc Liszt Kammerorchester, Ungarisches Kammerorchester und das Ungarische Barocktrio) Konzertreisen durch Europa. Als Solisten nehmen sie ständig an den ausländischen Konzertreisen der Nationalphilharmonie teil. Die Schallplattenfirma HUNGAROTON veröffentlichte Soloplatten mit jedem Musiker und auch der Ungarische Rundfunk machte Tonaufnahmen mit allen zum Quintett gehörenden Musikkünstlern. Seine Konzertreisen führten das Ensemble nach Österreich, in die Schweiz und Italien sowie nach Japan und Australien. Zwei Mitglieder des Quintetts sind Professoren an der Ferenc Liszt Musikakademie und drei von ihnen sind Lehrer des Béla Bartók Konservatoriums. Das Repertoire des Bläserquintetts enthält sowohl echte Barock- und klassische Werke und Transkriptionen (Rameau, Bach, Telemann, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Pleyel) als auch grundlegende Werke der Gattung des Bläserquintetts (Reicha, Danzi), als auch Stücke der Romantik (Schubert) und Werke aus der heutigen Weltliteratur für Bläserquintette (Barber, Carter, Malcolm, Poulenc. Ibert, Francaix, Nielsen, Lajtha, Hindemith. Cholschtschewnikow, Scholium. Ligeti). Das musikalische Programm des Ensembles umfasst ausserdem Duo-, Trio-, Quartett- und Piano-Quintettrecitale (Danzi, Mozart, Beethoven, Rimskij-Korsakow), ferner auch Piano-Sextettkonzerte (Poulenc, Sugár). Gelegentlich werden von den Musikern auch Solostücke mit Klavierbegleitung gespielt. Wichtigstes Anliegen des „Philharmonie” Bläserquintetts ist es, jede Art der Bläserkammermusik zu popularisieren und die reichhaltige ungarische Musikliteratur für Bläserquintette dem internationalen Publikum bekannt zu machen (Werke von Kurtág, Durkó. Petrovics, Láng, Maros, Ránky, Szervánszky. Járdányi, Bozzai, Hidas, Dubrovay, Cse- miczky). The members of the ensemble are soloists of their instruments well known at home and abroad giving recitals with different chamber orchestras throughout Europe like the Ferenc Liszt Chamber Orchestra, the Hungarian Chamber Orchestra and the Hungarian Baroque Trio. On the other hand, the members of the Philharmonic Winds continue to be regular soloist of the State Symphony Orchestra on its European tours. Solo recordings were made with all members of the Quintet by the HUNGAROTON Recording Company and by the Hungarian Radio. The ensemble toured Austria, Italy, Japan and Australia. Two of the musicians are professors of the Hungarian „Ferenc Liszt” Academy of Music while three of them are professors at the „Béla Bartók” Conservatoire. The repertory of the ensemble includes a wide range of works like the original baroque and classic pieces and transcriptions (by Rameau Bach, Telemann, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Pleyel), the origins of the musical form of the wind quintet as such (by Reicha and Danzi) as well as romantic pieces (Schubert) and works of the contemporary musical literature for wind quintet (by Barber, Carter, Malcolm, Poulenc, Ibert, Francaix, Nielsen, Lajtha, Hindemith, Cholshczevnikov, Scholium, Ligeti). The musical program of the Quintet also includes giving duet, trio, quartet and piano-quintet concerts (interpreting works by Danzi, Mozart, Beethoven, Rimski-Korsakow), or piano-sextet recitals (pieces by Poulenc and Sugár) and at times solo pieces with piano accompaniment. Popularizing all trends of wind chamber music as well as making known the rich Hungarian wind-quintet literature to the world (works by such composers as Kurtág, Durkó, Petrovics, Láng. Maros, Ránky, Szervánszky, Járdányi, Bozzai, Hidas, Dubrovay, Csemiczky) are regarded as the main objectives of the Philharmonic Winds of Hungary.
