The water of its thermal baths rises from a depth of 562-971 m, due to the Triasic, resp,Pannon water giving strata. The waters are of 44-64°C and are qualified as thermomineral curative waters. Their sulphid-sulphur contents are high and they contain also sodium, calcium, hydrogen-carbonate, metacilicic acid,free carbonic acid and fluorine. This is the curative water of Hungary that contains the most sulphide-sulphur and is used for healing purposes for over 50 years. The constantly increasing number of treated persons, as well as the medical experience gathered during a half-century prove thehealing effect of the curative water. It is receptive in the first placeto treatments of chondrus abrasion, degenerative articulation and illnesses of the spinal column as well as for illnesses due to the degeneration of the intervertebral discs. Es ist 14 km von Eger, 13 km von Mezőkövesd entfernt, am Rande des Dorfes Noszvaj, auf der Verkehrsstrasse nach Szomo/ya. Das ehemalige Schloss Gallassy wurde so umgestaltet, dass es den Forderungen eines Hotels entspricht. Die immerzunehmende Inanspruchnahme seitens der Kranken und die ärztlichen Erfahrungen, die während des halben Jahrhunderts gemacht wurden, beweisen die Wirksamkeit des Heilwassers.
