It is a popular place for excusions for Hungarian tourists and for those from abroad. Surrounded by the peaks of the Mátra mountains the camping site lies at a height of 530 m. Crossing the wooden bridges that connect the small islands of the lake, one reaches the 45 m high look-out tower from where the view is fascinating. Due to its climate this place is very convenient to cure illnesses of the heart, vascular illnesses and complaints connected with asthma. The situation of the camping is such that all places worth visiting can be reached easily and these are Parádfürdő, Párád, Parádsasvár, with its crystal and glass manufacture, then Mátrafüred, Mátraháza, and Kékestető with the highest peak in Hungary. SÁSTÓ CAMPING Die Gebirgsumgebung und der See neben dem Camping, mit einer Oberfläche von 2 Hektaren ermöglicht Bootfahren und Angeln und dadurch eine völlige Ausspannung. Es ist ein beliebter Ausflugsort sowohl für Ausländische als auch für inländische Touristen. Der Camping liegt in einer Höhe von 530 m in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Die Holzbrücken überquerend, die die kleinen Insel des Sees verbinden kann man den 45 m hohen Aussichtstrum erreichen und von hieraus erschliesst sich vor unreren Augen ein überwältigendes Panorama. Dank den klimatischen Gegebenheiten ist die Stelle besonders günstig zur Heilung von Herz- und Kreislauferkrankungen, sowohl als auch zur Heilung von asthmatischen Leiden.
