Creative Arts Days and Course in Kisköre Kisköre, 19-26 July 1998 During the programme you can learn about the folk embroideries, potter’s craft, basket-weaving, planking and enamelling methods typical of the region rich in arts traditions. (The necessary base materials, tools and appliances are provided to the participants on the spot.) Participation fee: 8.000, - Ft/children to age 16/ week + accommodation, board 10.000, - Ft/adults/ week + accommodation, board Optional Programmes: Fishing: Lake and River Tisza - with its back and live waters- offer an excellent opportunity for fans of fishing (types of fish: European weis, pike-perch, pike, bream, carp) Open-air bathing: the sandy shore of the lake awaits the guests wishing to swim and kids wishing to splash about and built sand castles. Water-sports: you can go windsurfing or water-skiing on the lake, and you can also use your motor-boat. Boating: rowing around in the rented boats you have an excellent opportunity to watch and explore the outstandingly rich flora, fauna and avifauna of the lake. Cycling: the dike along the lakeshore is an ideal place for making long cycle-excursions. We suggest bringing your bike with you, but you can also rent one on the spot. Riding International Triathalon Race: if you plan to participate in the programme at the time of the Triathalon Race (18th July) you can pay a visit to its programmes. Excursions: one-day excursions to the historic sights of Eger, the thermal spa in Mezőkövesd and the natural reserve of the Great Hungarian Plain in Hortobágy.
