The leader of the group Virgil Parvu, an engineer from Brasov, vas summoned to the Foreign (kontrol National Central Office (KEOKH) on November l^th where his residence permit which was valid until March was invalidated and he vas given a tvo-day visa lasting until November l6th. Parvu, who has récéived several death threats from anonymous persons recently, had to leave Hungary yester- day and vént to a Scandinavian country, Cornel Rosca, an engineer from Timisoara, who was the group’s previous leader had to leave Hungary in October. "Románia Libera" members have often spoken at Hungárián Democratic Fórum and other indepen- dent organisations conferences. They spoke out against infringements of the law and the suppression of minorities and it even criticised the ambiguous policies of the Hungárián govemment on several occasions.
