The organisers of the Hungárián Democratic Fórum issued a declaration in which they velcomed and pledged their support to the formation of the YDA. The declaration dated April 19th is as follows: All youthful initiatives have a salutary effect on our society which is in crisis, which is heading towards a demographic bedrock, which is depressed and shows signs of decay. That is why the announcement of the Young Democrats Alliance nőt only affected us bút our whole movement and others who respond to public affairs by encouraging us to take positive action.
